After spending three years in the Army, we settled down in
Lafayette. We have lived in the same house for 40 years. It
is located in Lafayette on six acres. Worked 40 years doing
inspection of construction, also 30 years in the pecan
business -- retail and wholesale. We have had rental
property, both residential and commercial for 50 years. I
served on various governmental private and civic boards
through the years. Have traveled extensively in the US,
China, Egypt, Alaska, and Australia. When each grandchild
reached the age of 12 we took them on one of these trips.
We are not planning any changes.
We are planning to travel to Maccu Piccu, Chile and
Stonehenge in England. We also plan to build more
commercial warehouses.
