Summary of the last fifty years:
I got married in 1955 to Marilyn Spiller of Cheneyville. We
had two boys and two girls. I remarried after my first wife
passed away. I married Sue Vernor who had two boys. We
moved from Alexandria to Baton Rouge in 1976. This move was
the result of Kroger transferring me. I retired in 1998
from Krogers Food Stores. We bought an RV, which we use for
excursions. We have a group of 12 people with RVs who
organize two trips per year. For example, we are taking a
trip in October to the Blue Grass Festival in Mississippi.
Some of our destinations are casinos, where the
accommodations for RVs are usually excellent. The casinos
also offer some excellent shows that we often attend.
Hopes for the future: I only
hope for good health for extended family and myself.
Pertinent information: I have
11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
