A summary of the last 50 years:
Got married in 54, we had four sons by 61. Went to work in
the oilfields on drilling rigs (offshore), was on
semi-submersible drilling rig. I have worked all over the
world (almost). We moved to Idaho because my oldest son was
associated with a Navy project, which had a prototype
nuclear submarine in Idaho. He encouraged us to move there,
which we did in 1994. We had our 50th wedding anniversary.
Have 5 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way. We have lived
up and down the West Coast (Cal, Oregon). Just had triple
bypass surgery on Aug 04, and I am doing fine. We try to go
to Louisiana twice a year to see my mother who is now 93.
Hopes for the future: just enjoy
family and friends and hope everyone else can do the same.
Pertinent information: Have
started raising red Angus cows with my oldest son last year,
which is more or less a hobby for me. Just interesting.
