Personal

Comments:
Bill, Jr. has lived in Plano, Texas for the past 10 years.
He is married to Lisa, a
native of
Minnesota. They have no children. Bill graduated from the
University of Illinois in
1985. He
received his MBA with a concentration in International
business from St. Louis
University
in 1992. Since moving to the Dallas area, Bill has been
involved in a variety of
businesses,
primarily in the technology field.
Mark and his
wife, Susan, met while both attending Ohio State
University. They have 2
children,
Madeline, age 7 and Jack, age 3, and have lived in St. Louis
since graduating from Ohio
State. Mark
now owns his own commercial real estate company in St.
Louis.
I practiced
law in the St. Louis area and retired from that practice in
2002. Later, I responded to an offer of a friend in New
Orleans, who had lost a partner in his practice. I am still
working for that firm.
Major
Events after BHS: Married in 1962 and birth of sons -
Bill, Jr. in February 1963, and Mark in February 1966.
Among the
accomplishments of which I am proud is becoming
President of Madison County Illinois Bar Association.
Some of
the things I recall about BHS in the fifties: sports,
Mrs. Hatley, B.G. St. Romain and Coach Ralph Edwards
The past
50 years have gone by too fast. Nonetheless, since I
left Bunkie after graduating from LSU, I have lived in
Biloxi, New Orleans and Lake Charles while an officer in the
Air Force. We moved to Denver, Colorado, my first
assignment with the FBI, and then I was transferred to
Springfield, Illinois. Leaving the FBI in 1969, we moved
back to New Orleans for 3 years while attending law school.
Then it was back to Illinois in 1972 where I was in private
law practice in the St. Louis area until 2002. Finally it
was back to the New Orleans area for the 3rd time, my last
career move. I continue my law practice and also return to
St. Louis periodically, where I mediate law cases as a
neutral. I plan to remain active in my law and mediation
practice for the foreseeable future.
My hopes
for the future: Peace in the Middle East; no more
hurricanes.
We are not
planning any big changes in the near future.
